RETURN POLICY

Effective: 1st May 2019

ArtChain Global is committed to ongoing satisfaction for all utilising our platform – Buyers, Sellers, Artists, Collectors and Galleries.

The Seller is responsible for the correct and accurate representation of the Artwork on the platform, and to ship the genuine Artwork purchased by the Buyer. The Buyer is obliged to make a complete inspection of the Artwork immediately after receiving it. Any objections with regards to the condition, authenticity or other area of misrepresentation of the Artwork may be reported by the Buyer.

Buyers can make a Return Request after receipt of the purchased Artwork. The Buyer has up to 14 days after receipt of an Artwork to contact ArtChain Global by completing the Return Request form on the platform. Buyers revoke their right to make this Return Request if they don’t confirm receipt of the artwork within 60 days of purchase.

ArtChain Global will examine Return Requests on a case by case basis to determine return responsibilities, any associated costs and any refund amount owing.

If the Return Request is deemed Buyer Responsibility, ArtChain Global will refund the buyer an amount less 10% of price paid (service charge fee) and the Artwork must be returned in its original condition with all associated return costs to be the responsibility of the Buyer (packaging, shipping & handling, customs and any other associated fees). The final refund amount will be credited to the Buyer’s nominated bank account after the Seller has confirmed receipt of the returned Artwork.

If the Return Request is deemed to be the Seller’s Responsibility, ArtChain Global will refund the Buyer 100% of the price paid and charge the Seller 10% of price paid (service charge fee). All associated return costs are to be the responsibility of the Seller (packaging, shipping & handling, customs and any other associated fees). The final refund amount will be credited to the Buyer’s nominated bank account after the Seller has confirmed receipt of returned Artwork. The Seller will receive an invoice for the service fee charged.

Buyer responsibility -

If the Artwork purchased was accurately represented (in terms of size, materials used, weight, condition, authenticity) by the Seller but the Buyer changes their mind this will be deemed Buyer’s remorse.

Seller responsibility -

If the Artwork purchased has been misrepresented by the Seller (photograph, description, authenticity); the Artwork was damaged prior to transit or the incorrect Artwork was received.

Return Requests must be submitted to ArtChain Global using the Return Request form on our platform and include the following information to enable a swift resolution.

  • ●   Shipping documents
